Does it cost me anything to join?

NO. Opinion Vet is not a paid subscription program. Membership is free to the general public. However, a valid email address is required to register.

How do I know if I qualify to join?

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid email address.

How do I become a member?

To become a member, go to the home page and click on the "register" tab to complete a short registration form. Registration takes less than 5 minutes.

Can I have more than one account?

NO. Membership is restricted to one account per person. While more than one person from the same household can register to join, each person must have a unique email address to participate.

Can I invite my friends and family members to join?

Absolutely! Your friends and family members can go directly to our website and register to join. You may also participate in our referral program and earn reward points for each person you refer to the panel.

How do I participate in the referral program?

Simply log on to the member area and click on the “Referrals” link. Enter your referral’s name, email information and we’ll invite them to join. You will earn 10 points for each referral who registers and completes his/her panel profile.

How do I update my information?

To change your account and profile information, you must first login to the member area and select update profile from the member menu.

What if I forget my password?

Not a problem. Simply login from our web site and click on the “Request password” link. Enter your registered email address and a new password will be sent to you via email. Please remember to login, using this new temporary password. You may change your password to something more desirable, after you’ve logged in.

How do I resign from the panel?

We certainly appreciate the efforts you’ve invested to register and become a member. As always, your opinion is invaluable to us. However, if you wish to cancel membership, you may login and click the “Unsubscribe” button under the account menu. Please note that canceling your membership will result in losing all reward points earned to date.

SURVEY FAQs

What is expected of me?

As a member you will be invited to participate in research projects, ranging from online surveys, opinion polls, mystery shopping, discussion forums conducted by our clients. Invitations are sent via email and will contain a unique URL, topic of the study and incentive information. If you wish to participate, click on the link, or paste it into your browser.

Am I compensated for my time?

Yes. We know your time is valuable and promise not to take that for granted with nonsense and gimmick incentives. When you complete a survey, you will be rewarded in one of several ways – Points, which can be redeemed for cash or instant reward.

How often will I receive a survey invitation?

Typically, you will receive an invitation to complete a survey about once a week or as often as you desire. However, we may ask you to complete surveys more often, depending on research needs. You may also increase your chances to receive more surveys, by completing your panel profiles.

How long will I have to participate in a survey?

Normally, you will have between one to three days to participate in a survey. This information will be provided in every survey invitation. However, survey deadlines depend on the client and the type of research study.

Am I obligated to complete each survey?

No. We understand that members have other things going on in their lives and may not have the time to respond to every survey invitation. If you were invited and do not wish to participate, simply ignore the invitation.

Please note that we occasionally send survey reminders to members who have yet to respond to a survey invitation. If you do not wish to receive additional reminders, simply reply to the email invitation and let us know you’re not interested.

I’m not receiving surveys. Why?

There may be several reasons for this.

  • After completing your panel registration, please make sure to check your email and follow the instructions to complete your panel profile. Your account will not be activated until your profile is completed.
  • Our email invitations could be going to your junk mail folder. Please remember to add vendor-billing@qsample.com to your address book or safe list.
  • We may have the incorrect email on file. Please login to the member area and review/update your profile information. Why is the survey link not working?

If you click on the survey link and you’re unable to launch the survey, please make sure you do not have any pop-up blocker enabled on your browser. If you’re pasting the survey URL into your address window, please make sure the entire URL has been copied and pasted. If you’re still having problems, please contact vendor-billing@qsample.com

Can you resend a survey?

If you were invited to participate in a survey and it’s still available for participation, simply login to the member area and your survey will be available via the survey history page.

How long will I have to wait for my incentive?

Once you’ve reached the redemption level, you can redeem your reward instantly.

REWARDS FAQs

How do I get compensated for my time?

We know your time is valuable and promise not to take that for granted with nonsense and gimmick incentives. When you complete a survey, you will be rewarded in one of several ways – cash, or Points that can be redeemed for cash or a coupon such as Amazon.com.

What are qPoints?

QPoints is a reward program that allows you to earn points everytime you complete a survey offering points. By completing your panel registration and profile, you’re automatically enrolled in the program.

How can I use my qPoints?

You may redeem you points for cash or a coupon, providing you meet the minimum points requirement.

Note: You must have at least 500 qPoints in your account to cash out.

How will you use my personal information?

The personal information you provide is used strictly for research purposes only. It allows us to invite you to participate in research studies that are relevant to you. Where did you get my email?

Opinion Vet does not spam or send unsolicited email invitations to participate in surveys. If you were invited to participate in a survey, it is based on the following reasons...

  • You registered on our web site to become a member and completed your panel profile.
  • You expressed interest to become a member, through one of our on-line partners.
