IdeaScale provides the ability to "graduate" or copy an idea from one portal to the next. A typical use case would be a situation where an external, customer-facing portal is created and an internal, private portal is created for employees. A moderator of the external portal would then "graduate" the best ideas to the internal portal for further discussion.
How do I configure idea graduation.
First you must create two or more IdeaScale portals (in the above example, an internal and an external). Under "Settings" and then "System Settings", choose the portal that you would like your ideas graduated/copied *to*.
Where do I actually graduate the idea?
Log in to your portal as a moderator, then click on the idea detail screen. From there, you'll see a "Graduate Idea" link in the manage panel.
